I’ve spent years documenting adventurous love stories on mountain peaks, in desert canyons, and even along the wild coasts of Scotland. 6:00 AM – Getting Ready in a Cozy Cabin
You and your beloved are starting the day slow, enjoying fresh coffee and first-light mountain views in a rustic cabin Airbnb. I meet you for Getting Ready and peaceful Vow Writing photos.
7:00 AM – First Look in a Grove of Aspens
As sunrise begins to peek over the peaks, we take First Look photos under a grove of golden Aspen trees. This is a quiet space for connection and joyful anticipation!
8:00 AM – The Journey Begins
We drive to a trailhead and set off on a moderate 6-mile journey to an alpine lake. As we leisurely pass alpine meadows, pine forests, and golden Aspens, we pause for snacks, water, and magical candid photos along the way.
10:30 AM – Vow and Ring Exchange at the Lake
Arrive at the crystal-clear lake, surrounded by rocky peaks and the changing colors of fall. It’s quiet, serene, and completely wild. You read your vows with the sound of water and wind as your backdrop.
11:30 AM – Alpine Picnic + IPA Toast
Break out your picnic on a blanket—maybe gourmet sandwiches, fruit, and of course, your favorite Colorado IPA. A cheers to the journey you’ve already had and the one ahead!
12:30 PM – Portraits + Wild Moments at the Lake
We’ll capture fun, candid moments, whether it’s twirling in the meadow, skipping rocks, or dipping toes in the water. This is all about your connection together!
2:00 PM – Begin the Descent
The hike back is full of golden light and post-vow joy. We take it slow, grab more candids, and savor the trail.
3:30 PM – Break + Chill Time at the Cabin
Return to your cabin. Rest your legs, clean up, maybe share a drink and change into something comfy or fun for the evening.
5:00 PM – Sunset Jeep Adventure
You hop in a Jeep and take a scenic drive up a mountain pass. We pull off for epic golden hour portraits with dramatic peaks and river views. Optional: pop another beer or soda on the tailgate.
6:30 PM – Private Dinner + Campfire at a Local Picnic Site
Settle in for a cozy lantern-lit dinner as the sun dips lower below the peaks. We’ll break out a catered picnic, meal kit, or make a fire-cooked meal with your favorite tunes on a portable speaker. At twilight, you share your first dance.
8:00 PM – Final Photos Under the Stars
Spend the evening stargazing, wrapped in a blanket, with the sound of trees around you. The camera’s still clicking quietly, catching the last tender moments of a day that felt like you.
