Heck yeah! You’ve found the love of your life and are looking for a stress-free but fun and epic way to begin life’s most incredible journey together. Hopefully you feel crazy-excited, but understandably maybe a little overwhelmed as well. Glad you’re here, because I’d like to put your mind at ease. Getting to the point of saying “I do” doesn’t have to feel like jumping out of a plane — though we can certainly do that on your elopement day…

What if all you had to do on your wedding day was show up — completely confident, present, & psyched?

Utah’s has endless possibility for your elopement adventure —from off-roading in
Arches National Park, mountain biking in Moab, rock climbing in Hanksville, hiking in Zion, canyoneering in Kanab, or camping in Canyonlands. We can even whitewater raft, horseback, paraglide, or skydive in some areas! But amongst all the excitement, it’s important to slow down and savor the day too. That’s why all my packages build in room to explore, space to be present, and time to rest!

After photographing couples all across Utah, Colorado, and even the world, I've learned something important: The most memorable wedding days aren't defined by how far you hike, how adventurous your plans are, or how perfectly the day goes.
It’s about how present you feel.
The photos should never be a replacement for actually experiencing the day, and they definitely shouldn’t showcase a day that didn’t feel like you.
Some couples’ dream day includes:

Standing on the edge of a canyon at sunset.
Private vows, then meeting with the family at a brewery
Sleeping in, sipping coffee in a cozy AirBNB, and a leisurely horseback ride.
Watching the stars come out beside a campfire, then hiking to an arch at sunrise.

Picture this:

You start the day at sunrise, hiking to a red rock arch in Moab, or a slot canyon in Kanab.

There you read private vows, exchange rings, and pop champagne for a morning mimosa!

After a picnic brunch in the shade of a canyon, you head back for a midday nap or space to explore the town.

In the afternoon, you rent ATVs, Jeeps, or horses and explore the desert in a new way.

Meet your Elopement Navigator

My name is Jenn. I’m a photographer based in a small mountain town in western Colorado, only a few short hours from Utah and one of the state’s most iconic adventure spots: Moab. The moments I love capturing most are those breathtaking, red rock backdrops that highlight you and your love, connecting in candid moments together.

But I’m not only here to capture the once-in-a-lifetime. The other half of my role for you is being the adventure buddy who hypes you, encourages you, guides you, and genuinely cares about your preferences and story. There are a lot of details that go into that one epic shot, but that’s for me to take on, and you to relax.
Seriously, we’re gonna make the wedding planning fun. No way? “Yah-weh.”

In the past decade I’ve hiked, climbed, rafted, skydived, canyoneered, and camped in incredible places throughout Utah. I’ve got a backpack full of secret spots, amazing vendors, and epic activities I’m just waiting to share with you. As someone who has summited many of Colorado’s 14,000-foot mountains, hiked miles in deserts, jungles, and snowy terrain with a heavy pack, and climbed in and out of canyons for the shot: neither height, nor depth, nor distance will deter me from getting the wild, epic photos you’ve been dreaming of! I have a deep understanding of different destinations during different times of the year, and love seeking out the more hidden, extraordinary spots—away from crowds and cliches.

Let’s be honest, weather (esp. in Colorado!) can be as unpredictable as your mother-in-law (don’t worry—we can keep that between us!). I’m thinking of every aspect of your experience and absolutely everything that could sidestep what we’ve planned. From detailed itineraries, packing tips, and travel guidance, to extra snacks and rain coats, I’m your Mary Poppins for the unexpected. But here’s another honest truth: the BEST photos often come from the unexpected!

Feeling overwhelmed? I’ve got you. Next to getting the best photos possible for you is my desire to create an experience where you feel comfortable, supported, prepared, and confident. I’m here for you for any questions, concerns, or ideas throughout the process—like the best friend you didn’t know you needed! I’m also working behind the scenes to make sure all the details are hashed out, and finding little ways to personalize your experience. Additionally, I provide assistance in planning, permits, and connections to vendors.

From deserts to tundras to mountains to oceans—how amazing is it that we can all enjoy these stunning landscapes! When you book with me, you’re booking with someone who knows what to look out for in local terrain—things like trail restoration, cryptobiotic soil, sand dunes, land permits, and rock scree. I aim to get us to those less-traveled places while respecting the environment and honoring the leave-no-trace principle for minimizing human impact in the outdoors.

Sure, the location, activities, and atmosphere will be incredible! But the most important thing I aim to document is your story together. I don’t want you to just see these photographs years later; I want you to feel them. So before we even begin our journey, I’ll get to know more about you two and your vision together. I’ll ask questions and go over ideas, but most importantly, I’ll listen. I want this journey to be a positive and memorable effect long after the day ends.

I believe that editing should always add to the feeling and atmosphere of the day, never take away. My photography style aims to minimize edits and bring out the natural colors, lighting, and contrast you remember from that moment. In this way, you could consider the photos timeless — a forever, true-to-life representation that will evoke the same emotion generation to generation.
